      Coworking FAQs

      What is coworking?

Coworking is a membership club that allows freelancers, entrepreneurs, start-ups, and business leaders to work and network in a shared space. It is a flexible, modern alternative to the traditional office and is becoming more and more popular every year.

      What membership options are there?

We offer 5 day , 10 day or full time memberships on month to month rolling terms. If you are longer for a long term agreement we can provide 6 or 12 month initial terms at a preferential rate.

      Where are you located?

Our coworking space is located at 26 Dublin Street. Five minutes away from the shops, bars, and restaurants of George Street and only a few more from Waverley Train Station.

      When are you open?

Full members have 24/7 access. 5 and 10 day members get access 7am and 7pm Monday-Friday.

      Are there any hidden costs?

No. You simply pay your monthly membership. You’ll be entitled to discounted meeting room rates which can be invoiced monthly. Please note if you wish to use our business address and receive mail/packages there is an additional charge of £25 per month exclusive of VAT for this service.

Do I have to pay a deposit?

      No.

      Can I bring my kids/pets?

Unfortunately, we do not allow children or pets.

I talk on the phone a lot, will that be a problem?

Not at all, though we ask that you not do anything that might disturb the other members of the space. Many of our members deal with important business calls every day with no issues. You are more than welcome to take phone calls in the coworking space, but for longer calls (or ones that you would prefer to take in private) you can also use our phone booth our one of our breakout areas. Our meeting room is equipped for conference calls too.

Can I have a fixed desk?

Though we do have limited fixed desks available from £395 per month plus VAT, they are in high demand. Feel free to enquire via phone or email to see what we have available. Our flexible membership packages mean that if we do not have any fixed desks at the moment, you can use our coworking space until a desk becomes available and switch easily.

      What is the notice period?

We require 1 full month’s notice before your agreed term for cancelling your membership.

Can I use the space as my mailing address?

Although this service is not included in our coworking membership, we do offer mail handling as part of our virtual office services. Please give us a call if you would like to discuss this further and we’d be thrilled to find a solution that suits your business needs.

      Is the space secure?

Yes, we have CCTV, security alarms, and a secure door entry system. So unlike a coffee shop there’s no need to take your laptop to the toilet with you.

Can I bring guests into the space?

Of course, if you are meeting with a client or a business partner then you can do this for free for up to 2 hours. If you are bringing someone into work with you for the day, then you can get a discounted guest pass for them.

I’d like to try out the space, how do I do this?

Great! You have a few options. If you’d like to arrange a viewing then book a free tour or contact us.

      Do you have printing facilities?

Yes. Although printing is free we do have a fair usage policy – you’re welcome to print as much as you want within reason, but if you decide to print out the complete works of Shakespeare we will charge you accordingly.

      When Can I start?

Immediately! If you want to join the coworking space we’ll just need you to sign the membership agreement and we can get you started ASAP.

      Location

26 Dublin Street is perfectly situated in Edinburgh’s vibrant city centre. It is a stone’s throw from the city’s major transport links, including Waverley train station and the St Andrew’s Square tram stop that links the city with the airport. The space is also very close to the shops, bars, and restaurants of George Street where you can kick back and relax after a long day’s work, or even entertain clients.
