Coworking FAQs
What is coworking?
Coworking is a membership that allows freelancers, entrepreneurs, start-ups, and business leaders to work and network in a shared space. It is a flexible, modern alternative to the traditional office.
What membership options are there?
We offer 5 day , 10 day, or full time memberships on month to month rolling terms. If you are looking to start more than one membership we can provide discounted memberships for 2 or more people.
Where are you located?
Our coworking space is located at 26 Dublin Street. Five minutes away from the shops, bars, and restaurants of George Street and St James Centre and only a few more from Waverley Train Station.
When are you open?
Full members have 24/7 access. 5 and 10 day members get access from 8.30am to 7pm Monday-Friday.
Are there any hidden costs?
No. You simply pay your monthly membership. As a member, you’ll be entitled to discounted meeting room rates are invoiced according to usage. Please note if you wish to use our business address and receive mail/packages there is an additional charge. Get in touch to find out more.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
If you take up a membership with us, there is a deposit equivalent to 1 month + VAT, but if you are just booking a day pass then there is no deposit.
I talk on the phone a lot, will that be a problem?
Not at all, you are more than welcome to take phone calls in the coworking space, but for longer calls (or ones that you would prefer to take in private) you can also use our phone booth or snug more private spaces. Our meeting room is equipped for conference calls too if preferred.
Can I have a fixed desk?
Though we do have limited fixed desks available from £400 per month plus VAT, they are in high demand. Feel free to enquire via phone or email to see what we have available. Our flexible membership packages mean that if we do not have any fixed desks at the moment, you can use our coworking space until a desk becomes available and switch easily.
What is the notice period?
We require 1 full month’s notice before your agreed term for cancelling your membership.
Can I use the space as my mailing address?
Although this service is not included in our coworking membership, we do offer mail handling as part of our virtual office services. Please give us a call if you would like to discuss this further.
Is the space secure?
Yes, we have CCTV, security alarms, and a secure door entry system. So unlike a coffee shop there’s no need to take your laptop to the toilet with you.
Can I bring guests into the space?
Of course, if you are meeting with a client or a business partner then you can do this for free for up to 2 hours. If you are bringing someone into work with you for the day, then you can get a discounted guest pass for them.
I’d like to try out the space, how do I do this?
Great! You have a few options. If you’d like to arrange a viewing then book a tour or free day trial by contacting us.
Do you have printing and storage facilities?
Yes, you’re welcome to print as much as you need. We do have lockers available on site to rent for £25 + VAT per month, subject to availability.
When Can I start?
Immediately! If you want to join the coworking space we’ll just need you to sign the membership agreement and we can get you started ASAP.
